Deer Park jumped out to a 4-0 lead with two goals by Maddie Hill, and one each from Kayla Ortiz Savannah Anderson. Deer Park's offense was very productive thanks to a strong back line that kept the ball in Memorial's territory most of the night.

Hill, who added a third goal to complete the hat trick, said she was happy to walk off the field of Abshier Stadium with a final regular season win as a senior.

"It's kind of bittersweet. I mean hopefully I get to have more games like this here at home in the playoffs but if not then this was a good way to end my last year here at Abshier Stadium,” she said.

Ortiz answered a Memorial goal with one of her own in the last five seconds.

The girls will face off against Beaumont Westbrook Monday for their last game before playoffs.
